Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav, and many more in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. In the past few episodes, it was seen how Manjiri refuses to let Abhimanyu get married to Akshara after she reveals that she is pregnant with Abhinav’s child. 

Today’s episode starts with Akshara asking Abhimanyu to stay at the Goenka home instead of finding a hotel. He refuses the offer by stating that he feels like a Ghar Jamai, before marriage. As they go back and forth, they recall their past argument. Abhimanyu then states that they might live here for now, but they will have to find a new place to live soon. He asks Akshara where she would like to stay. He suggests that Kasauli might be a better place for the baby and Abhir. Akshara tries to intervene and asks him if he can stay away from his mother, to which Abhimanyu tells her that he will travel back and forth. 


In the morning, back at the Birla mansion, Manjiri’s health starts deteriorating. Akshara comes there to meet her and requests her to give her blessings to Abhimanyu and her. Manjiri refuses to do so, stating how Abhimanyu will soon rush back to her. Muskaan gets excited as the court sends the Goenkas the marriage registry date for Akshara and Abhimanyu. As Akshara fills out the forms she realises she doesn’t have Abhimanyu’s photo. Just as she thinks of Manjiri, she gets a call and rushes to the Birla house. She comes to know that Manjiri tried to commit suicide. Akshara informs Abhimanyu about the same, who then rushes home as well. He does his level best to take care of his mother.

In the upcoming episode, it will be seen that Manjiri will be demanding her son back from Akshara. As Akshara rushes for a pooja, Manjiri keeps following her wanting her to stop and listen to her. However, Manjiri accidentally pushes Akshara which leads to her falling down and getting unconscious. Manisha and Abhimanyu rush forward when they see this.
